On How You Used My Slum As A Projection Surface For Your Zoom Meeting Conference

2020 // site-specific video projection / 3′ loop

On the screen Buddha is sitting in front of us, waiting to start a conversation. Zooming out constantly, the camera shows us some more screens on which other characters are facing us. Then, we slowly recognize not just a couple of screens but a whole chaotic structure showing the faces of different polly-pocket-characters having a video conference meeting.

Conceived to be an in-site projection, this video-loop sarcastically question the idea of a digital post-Covid-19 future that blurs the overpopulation problems of the mega cities and renders invisible the fate of millions of slum dwellers around the world.
